Re: Official Movie Thread
I heard it was good lol. I probably won't watch it though if you didn't like it you're probably right.
Re: Official Movie Thread
I just watched Tim Burtons Corpse Bride. Directed at children but I enjoyed it. Beats most crap nowadays since it was original and not something a 'talented writer' thought should be remade. (*cough cough* A-Team *cough*)

Re: Official Movie Thread
I did spend last weekend watching Toy Story 2 and Finding Nemo, and enjoying them immensely. Just trust a Pixar movie, it's guarenteed to be awesome for anyone.
Also, I'd recommend "The Losers" when it's out on DVD. I saw it with a few friends for a birthday, most of us in the group being utter snobs when it comes to action movies. Every one of us came out having enjoyed it. Yes, it has no sensible plot, yes, it has a slightly campy villain, yes, it does try hard to be big and clever, but the action sequences are "shut the fluck up and let your eyes bleed *****." It's also totally hilarious. It's the only action comedy where I felt that the comedy wasn't forced. My 2-cents at any rate.

Re: Official Movie Thread
"Bram Stoker's Dracula" by FFC annoyed me. It's not a horror film, it's a love story with horror elements. For Gods sake, this is Dracula. He drinks blood, and kicks ass. What he doesn't do is act like a wimp cause his girlfriend leaves him for another dude. Gary Oldman was good though.
"Ronin" tonight, looking forward to it.

Hey dudez. I've just been to see the expendables
I really enjoyed it actually. It's like an old school action film with a great cast and plenty of awesome explosions & weapons.
It's def worth goin to the cinema to watch

It's just Jaws except with 3D Piranhas that brutally dismember anyone they see, hotter babes, and more spilled guts

Re: Official Movie Thread
Reporting back: Scott Pilgrim vs. The World gets a 9.8/10
I strongly advise everyone on this forum to see it. There's so much to like, and it's a funny film to boot. Can't say whether I like Edgar Wright's new film more than Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz, 'cause they're all different types of film, but it's certainly epic.

Re: Official Movie Thread
Ugh. The amount of films I've seen since I started Uni. To review each and every one would take forever.
The list, however, is: Green Zone, Pulp Fiction, Iron Man 2, V For Vendetta, American Psycho, Inception, Toy Story 3, Kick Ass, The Other Guys, The Breakfast Club, South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut, The Truman Show, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, The A-Team, The Expendables.
And hopefully, that's it for this term.

No David Tennant = Not worth watching.
Did you read the thread about dr. who? If you did, you'd know what my opinion on it is.
