But srsly tho that movie 127 Hours is well worth watching. I mean I know a guy getting trapped by a rock doesn't sound very interesting, but it just is lol.

yehyeh it was pretty slick. Took a bit for the story to come together in the beginning, but once it did it was great. Good voice actors and great animation. Go see it!

Rotten tomatoes says 73% of people who went to see it liked it. That's not too shabby. I rarely bother looking at reviews from the critics though, since these days they seem to hate every movie they see. Why even bother going to the movies if you hate them all, I ask? Find a new line of work.

If I don't see it in theaters I'll likely grab the dvd whenever it goes on sale at Amazon since I already have the others.

See, critically, I can see why critics wouldn't necessarily like POTC 4, but to the average Joe viewer. it's your standard summer popcorn fare. With pirates.

There are movies I like that have been critically not-so-loved, but I can see where they'd be coming from with what they say.

Oh that's an interesting article. Thanks for sharing that! I have always hated movie critics for pretty much all the reasons he wrote in that article. But he goes on to explain why those seemingly bad qualities are actually good qualities in the grand scheme of things... very interesting.
