This week is JKII week!

I have a proposal. Let's all try to be on this week. I aim to be on around 8 p.m. - midnight GMT, Monday - Thursday, and if possible I'd like as many people as possible to join me. Just because I haven't played with so many of you guys in months, it'd be nice to catch up, and enjoy JKII again.

It won't as fun without ships but OK.

Can we play JKA too? We've been playing at Wonko's JKA server quite a bit lately.

Haha. It's weird how jk2 can seem boring after flying around jka for a while...

IF I could get JKA to work, then yeah.

Do you need some "help" in hypothetically obtaining the aformentioned software?

I have the software, just having problems getting the online to work.

Don't use a no-cd crack. CRC errors. Get a disc 1 .iso file.

Loki, I have the original JKA disks. It's just a fault I'm trying to iron out.

Can you explain the fault then? Maybe we can help.

When I try to load online, it claims to be unable to find the vm/qvm files.

Assuming you have pakscape, go into assets3.pk3 and extract the dll files to your base folder. That should do it.

Did you even try installing under C:\ like I suggested three or four times already to bypass Vista's horrendous amount of suckiness?? Well?!

Oh right!! It's Vista! Ok, right. Then I dunno.

It claims to be unable to save directly to C:\, apparently it's something I'm not allowed to do =S

I'll look into it later, mostly cause I'm having lunch right now.

Uninstall it completely, then when you go to reinstall it set the install path to C:\ and you'll be good to go. There's no reason it wouldn't let you install there.

Edit: I take that back, maybe you need to do "C:\LucasArts" if it doesn't automatically try to fill that part in for you. That could be why. Obviously you can't install everything right into C:\, that'd just be silly.

Create a virtual hard drive and install it there? Or something?

Hurray for jk3 week!!! I mean, uh.. jk2 week... wait....

Can we have another JK2/JKA week before we all get busy with school/work/college/cheese-consumption? Most people under 17/18 will have high school, people older will have college/grad school, and people who graduated won't have anybody to play with or will just be too busy. So lets get together for at least one or two more days and P-A-R-T-WHY? 'Cause we gotta!

But if we're all too busy it isn't much of a big deal. I mean even the Ca server barely has anybody playing nowadays. I just want to take out my JK2 disc for the period between now and next summer, and I think other people do too. That's why I'm asking haha
