This week is JKII week!

I'm away all this week, so I'm out. Have fun!

I'm done with JK2 for this year... I'll put it back in its case until next summer. I have JKA on an image file so I can play that from time to time, but I'll unmount it for now.

You've all got it easy right now. You've still got nights and weekends and vacations and holidays. You'll not get any pity from me.

I don't even remember what a holiday is!

Speaking of which, some of us got our A-Level results today.

2 A*'s, one in Maths and one in Further Maths.
A in Physics.
C in German.

Got the 3 A's I needed, so off to Warwick Uni in October!

What is A-Level? Is that the same as AP classes in America, where you can get college credit for the class you're taking? Here it's based off the 5-point scale.

Nah, our education system works a little weirder here. I think here University is like your Collages. So A-Level's are before that. Which you may have said, I don't know. I'm not Ameringlish.

Ameringlish haha.

It's the same as the english language, only they leave out letters from words like colour or aluminium :p

A friend of mine was rejected by Cambridge, then got 4 A*'s overall. I think Cambridge commited a true epic phail there.

Also, I can't spell. It's a comman knewn foct.

Did any of you know that American English is actually more traditional English than British English? Back in the colonial times, how we speak here is how everyone in England spoke too. The loonies set sail and separated themselves and so on and so forth, then sometime afterwards actors and actresses in England adopted a pinky in the air accent with less emphasis on the r's and all that. It trickled down to common folk and became the normal British accent but it never made its way over to the US, so we kept the old school English accent.

We should all start communicating in hieroglyphics Like use one of those things Apple has for Chinese-speaking people where they can use a touch screen to input the symbols. Like if we wanted to say: "Cookie," we would draw a picture of a cookie or something haha

I went and made an official hieroglyphics thread and kicked it off with a little game involving, what else, cake points!!
