Downloading Links From the Forum
To all visitors of the forum:
First off, thank you for your interest in Wonko's School of Cake--we're glad you found us to satiate your Jedi Knights fix. We don't "bake" opium with our daily products, though, so sorry if that's your kind of fix.
Our forum links to many maps, most of which redirect to external websites other people manage, although Wonko does have a few on his Dropbox account, and quite a few of our very own members do indeed have their own stuff up their for your entertainment purposes. However, due to Forumotion's recent change in forum regulation, one must have an account to be able to click on links in forum posts.
This was not previously the case. I know not why they decided to change this, as I cannot seem to find a way to fix this through my admin tools. I have only limited access to the forum's inner workings.
Anyways, case in point: create an account if you want to click on links. Guests will not be able to do so. If I find a way to fix this, or if things magically come back to normal, I will let you all know.
Thanks,
Ice and the rest of the lunatics at the loony bin.
edit: Alright, guys, looks like links are working. Credit to Wonko for finding the place on the forum where one can fix it. I have no idea why it was in the "security" section of the administrative tools.

Re: Downloading Links From the Forum
Links are working for guests. I don't know it was off on default.
Re: Downloading Links From the Forum
I went ahead and de-announcified the post so it doesn't show up on top of the forum anymore. Ice, did you like how oddly worded the settings were? It was all "Do not don't prevent ban new don't members but clicking links"
Re: Downloading Links From the Forum
Oh, yes, quite concise, if I do say so myself.
"Click here to NOT DON'T change the un-settings (BEHIND YOU!!!) link here NOT here CLICK"
edit:
this one is my favorite lol: "Unauthorize unofficial forms to post messages and private messages on the forum"

Re: Downloading Links From the Forum
Why can't there be a "Smartify Llama" option in the admin panel?
Oh, wait, there probably is, but we can't find it because it's so poorly worded.

If you were speaking about god, and he appeared.
Would it be bad to say "speaking of the devil"?

My reply was simply a visual representation how I felt at the time.Wonko the Sane wrote:Don't encourage him, Ice.
And yeah, Llama, this isn't years ago when you started playing jk2/jka...you need to outgrow your pathological need to get attention, be it through posting BS, making a fool out of yourself, or whatever the hell else you do. Seriously, man, it's getting really annoying. I know you'll get over this in a few years once the hormones in your body chill down a bit and once you learn that nobody really cares about what you have to say unless it affects them directly. All we want is for you to get over it ASAP.
