ZIP file

I've run into a problem. Today, for those of you who don't know I have vista, and I must log onto my dad's account to be able to put files into the base folder.

So today when i was doing that every file that i would download would be a .zip and would not work in jk2. skins, and maps.
How do I unzip it? I had instructions on one site but it did not work.
oh, and i think every file came from filefront.

Usually, u just extract the files from the zip in windows. But if u cant, u could try something like 7zip: http://www.7-zip.org/

Yeah 7zip will get that workin' for ya. Once you download it, right click, go to 7zip, and click extract on the .zip file.
