Vista or Windows 7

Which is it?! And how do you know

Windows 7 IS Vista.

They took Vista, copied the Mac OSX dock at the bottom, and created a lot of false hype saying how much better and more awesome it is as a result.

And even if they DID change one or two other things, the fact remains it's still Windows.
= automatic fail.

What do you mean which is it?? Didn't you read my post? They're the same OS! One just has a stolen Mac OSX dock.

When the first Mac was in development, Microsoft offered to "help" Apple and they stole it and made their own thing. This topic is a fail, agreed.

That's like covering a cookie with sprinkles and calling it a cupcake. Everybody knows it's still a cookie except the noob who loves sprinkles so much he practically s to whoever it was who decided to put sprinkles on the cookie and call it a cupcake knowing that there exist certain noobs in the world who love sprinkles so much that they'll pay any amount of money for a sprinkle-covered-cookie-called-a-cupcake even though they all have jars of multicolored sprinkles in their pantries and could have easily just baked their own cookie and put their own sprinkles on it but they're too nooby for that and would rather to somebody who doesn't deserve it at all.

Also, somebody tried the whole sprinkles-on-the-cookie thing years ago and they currently run a successful business out of Cupertino, CA. Just one difference: The cookies they use are actually cupcakes.

I've failed to see when Ice has been wrong about anything (he hasnt). Bill Gates originaly started out working for Apple. He left and created Microsoft , hence Windows began.

And as for Vista.. I was going to buy it, but even the salesperson said it was a waste of money, what does that tell you? He could of made a sale but he told me I shouldn't , makes you think..

Dude i use vista it looks the same lol except for the taskbar thing down at the bottom whatever it's called so maybe it is windows 7 ^_^ even though i voted vista ^_^.

It IS windows 7, I don't see why people still say its windows vista. And windows 7 and windows vista are not the same Wonko. Windows 7 fixes the crappy UAC, it's also "faster". Also just because it looks like vista doesn't mean it is. It took away the sidebar and replaced it with gadgets, Microsoft's fail at the dashboard. If you look at the sceanie in the bottom right you can even see what build of the beta I was using. But anyways as for performance windows 7 is no faster than windows vista. But I still prefer vista to xp.

well.....for you guys who absolutely hate the WORD VISTA! I have some news...I used an old XP machine and it died on me so I had to get a new one....I orded it and my only option was vista well I have had NO trouble with it! the only thing I would mention is you have to give things security passes in order for most stuff to work properly.
