Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition, Goldeneye 007 for the Wii, Arkham Horror board game (Cthulhu ftw), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World Collector's Edition DVD (and it isn't even out till Monday), and a Pacman T-shirt.

I'd call that a good haul.

Probably about £150 for me. Bought some games. Probably buy some more.

As long as they aren't for brand-name stores. I am glad I didn't get any designer-store gift cards this year because everything is just so damn expensive. I remember getting one of those last year and having to spend it all on a single T-shirt, although it looked and felt the same as everything else I own.

I got the usual...clothes, gift cards, a music CD, and some more stuff that only I would want haha. I will probably get more later on today when more guests arrive and tomorrow as well.

There was lots of food to eat for me too. However, I'm still recovering from a cold so my throat and general lack of hunger made most of it go to waste.

As for the games I bought (so far):

All for the PC btw, during the Steam sale. Less than £40.

They are indeed. DRM on Batman though, which I need to figure out how it works. Apparently it's 4 installs a month max but I'm having trouble verifying it.

It's been good to play COD4 and Mass Effect after all these years.

Surprisingly, I didn't get a bible, CS Lewis theology book, or "Case for God" type book from my extended family. For the past three or four years they got me some such book, and it became something I joke about with my mom. Not complaining at all; instead I got a biographical look at the lives of Ted Hughes and Sylvia Plath, something I'll actually read and be interested in.

Geeks > Nerds

And yes there is a difference. Nerds are enthusiasts whereas geeks know what they are talking about. For example, Llama sucks at jk2 but enjoys it therefore he is a jk2 nerd. We, however, are seasoned jk2 veterans/enthusiasts so therefore we are jk2 geeks. (no offense llama )

And then some of us are connoisseurs.
