School Of Cake RP

Having more random thoughts again, I wondered if any of you were interested in an RP? As in a forum one, not an actual server.

It's the same thing though, you just roleplay as someone. I was thinking maybe we could each roleplay as our own characters in some quirky way. But I'd need plotlines, ideas, settings and stuff to start with...

So, who's up for it, and any ideas?

RP's can be a lot of fun, but how would that work in a forum where it's not live chat?

People can just reply to posts, it doesn't have to be live chat. I've done it with a few friends before, we did a 500+ post RP over a while on a forum, it still active if I remember correctly, just no-one's posted in a while

When JK2 used to have RP servers, ShroomDuck and I would ruin them by naming ourselves "Refrigerator Repair Men" and approaching the RPers and saying things like "Alright, after a look-see it looks like we're gonna need to put some 8-inch tubes in this tight box."

We got banned a lot, and none of the RPers had any idea it was someone like shroomduck ducking with them. Good times...

The forum does have a live chat option, but it doesn't work very well with the installed theme. It sounds like some good fun; make a topic and lets get it started!

OK, if we are going to do this, then we need character profiles. For example, here's mine:

Name: Captain Jack Sparrow
Age: 23 (not my real age)
Sex: Male (this is crucial, remember, some aliens might not necessary have the same "parts" as us.)
Race: Human
Occupation: Mercenary/Smuggler/Space Pirate
Affiliations: Rebellion/Self/School of Cake
Force capabilities: Medium (can choose from Light, e.g. Jump, Push, Pull, Minor Heal; Medium, e.g. Mind Trick, Protect, Drain, Choke; or Heavy, e.g. Lightning, Crush, Major Heal (Having a higher level automatically allows you to have the lower levels, but please don't all have Heavy))
Description: A hardened, woman-chasing, grog-drinking pirate, the Cap'n travels the Galaxy looking to make a quick buck. Since discovering his Force abilities, he plays a more active role in the Rebellion, though still manages to find time to bed at least one woman a night. Never ask about "Lola," especially if you want to leave with genitals intact.

That's my profile, remember this is a comedy RP, so spruce it up a bit with the weird and wonderful. Keep it Star Wars-themed, e.g. no Klingons, no Daleks and certainly no Borg. I'll set up a thread tomorrow to start it off, post intro profiles here, then post in the other thread. All I'll say is that (this probably won't make sense if you haven't RP'ed before) God Modding is allowed, but you can't kill another character off, e.g. Llama could blast me into oblivion, but I would survive due to my oblivion-absorbant lederhosen etc.

Description: I started out as a normal boy when my family was murdered by the Empire. Once they fell, I was found by Luke Skywalker on my home planet Courosant. I was the top of my class. One day, I got in a fierce argument with one of my peers and got in a duel. I almost killed him when my instructor stepped in. My feelings toward other are controllable, regrettable, and strong. I left to go search for any remnants of the Mandolorians. What I found has been kept secret to this day but one thing I will admin is I found two pistols like Jango Fett's. I am a wanderer with a saber, and two pistols. Fiercely loyal, don't-get-in-my-way-attitude, if you challenge me save your energy for your retreat.
