Yeah, I wasn't expecting that at all...that was driving me insane. Is that something they actually do in music videos nowadays?

It started with some movies I think? Certain ones, if you see them in IMAX, have changing aspect ratios. Guardians of the Galaxy actually does that, but it's not nausea-inducing like that video. Just certain scenes switch aspect ratios to "enhance" the "experience".
