Re: Wii
I never got all the stars on the original. But yeah, eventually. After No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle. That's a game I've been waiting a while for.

Nintendo @ E3 2010
I offically jack this thread and hearby call it "Nintendo @ E3 2010"
So, Nintendo's E3 presentation is over. Several games were announced, including the new Zelda, a new Kirby (HAI!), a new Donkey Kong (omfg yes yes seysys!) and some Goldeneye remake.
Discuss.

Re: Wii
Goldeneye is awesome. This remake/sequel is so unexpected as well.
Has anyone here actually played the original N64 version?

Re: Wii
yeah, and you can download a ROM for it from: http://www.coolrom.com/roms/n64/1190/GoldenEye_007.php
you need Project 64 to run it, however.

Re: Wii
Sorry dude, ROM's are considered illegal if the original game hasn't been purchased. (It's somewhat stupid and not even clear but you should take it down just in case.)
I don't like all the remakes. From what I saw in the trailer, it has very little from the original (map wise) and it isn't even Pierce Brosnan doing the voice... I played the original and I loved it. This... this isn't a game. It's...this sums it up very well IMHO.
The only thing that really interested me at E3 was the Donkey Kong game. Bringing the game forward graphically without changing the gameplay. Thats what game remakes should be about.

Re: Wii
Loki, this game is well over 10 years old. Just doing a straight remake wouldn't cut it today.
Activision called it more of a "re-imagining," which is a term I myself hate, because it doesn't mean the new product will be faithful to the old. But, from what I've seen, it looks like it will hold up well. Online multiplayer as Oddjob is going to be cool again.

Re: Wii
I don't think anybody will care since the game is not in production anymore. If the company that made it gets no more $$$ from the game, I don't see what the problem is.Loki wrote:Sorry dude, ROM's are considered illegal if the original game hasn't been purchased.
