It isn't that we're being strict, it's that you should learn to follow rules and use common sense. Being, what, 13, are you? You're about to enter adolescence, and there will be times when you feel like adults are taking over your world. It isn't adults in general, or even authority. It's a group of people. As they say, a person is smart, but people are just plain stupid. Learn to rise above conformity, use common sense, and listen to those who are trying to help you for selfless reasons, and you'll do fine.
