k in console do set com_hunkmegs 128 (once in jk2 menu then again in wonko's) then exit jk2,goto base and ds-online folders and open up jk2mpconfig.cfg in both folders and open both w/ notepad,then find com_hunkmegs 64 and change em 2 128 and save them

no need to do anything in notepad, just /set com_hunkmegs 128 in base and DS, then restart jedi knights. And yeha, the map is amazing.

also, idk if you do this, but if you start jk2 multiplayer SAFE MODE that could be why. it resets all settings i think. that's why i do the original jedi loader where i choose single, multi, help, options, and exit. clicking on that and doing multiplayer remembers how it was last time you were there i think.

I've noticed when you join through Xfire, it erases all sub-folder configs. Had to set them all up again D:

How'd you make the terrain for that spongebob map? Just quadsoups and trisoups?

the ground was largely straight/flat brushes, and the walls were just sculpted manually. I stacked cubes of 8x8 (on the grid macro'd to the 4) and messed around with the vertex tool. That's also what I did on the ground in jellyfish fields, only on a different axis since it's ground and not wall.

Wonko:: Did you delete the old south park map? The one on the server looks old-- its no big deal, just 2 windows are empty instead of having people I added in last minute. So either I put in an old version or the one on the server is old... I'm on another comp right now so I can't check the pack myself.

btw I sent the fixed southpark .bsp as well as a better music file for the map that repeats a little better to jk2files to add to the pack. It might not be up for a while, but once it's on jk2files you'll need to download again Razz

My last map I submitted was rejected because it sat in the queue for too long. He told me if it was in the queue for more then a week it deletes. I can't find the email or I'd post it. That was around 30 days ago. I resubmitted but then all this maintenance stuff happened so I assume it just went away and no one emailed me this time so if they ever fix the login problems that started this week maybe I'll send it in again.

idk if they're understaffed or what.

they're understaffed for JKO. You have people like Nozy who definitely have jko, but might not have it installed, or might not want to open it... etc, so jko files get skipped over a lot.

I bet this thing will get posted soon because I got two maps posted up in the last two days, which was surprising.

They might be skipping over the pack because it's so daunting to review so much, but hopefully if the others files thin out someone will take a stab at it.

Whoever this "Nab" reviewer is keeps emailing me with individual remarks about each map, so I think they're getting all the maps and not skipping anything-- which I did not expect. I expected them to just do some skimming.
