Add it to the list of possible ways the world will end in 2012: Death by a hundred thousand mini quadrotors controlled by blivvy initially to steal bacon but then aimed at world destruction.

Well yea the bacon stealin plan is just a cover up. My main goal is actually to take over the world. But if it gets destroyed in the process, then so be it xD

We could just say that their next training exercise is to learn how to bake cakes.

...Then we'll take over the world, pastry-style, as is our slogan.

So I was out shopping today, and I saw an ad for these things. I should have taken a picture, but basically, it said something like, "Coming soon--reserve now," or something along those sorts.

But I can't seem to find anything on the internet about this. I'll let ya'll know if I find something.

You know, I'm going to build those - CompSci major with a Robotics concentration.

I remember building and writing a basic AI for a wheeled robot my freshman year at college. We had to design and attach bumpers to the thing to detect when it hit a wall or object then write assembly code to program the thing to drive around it. At the end of the project, if the robot was able to navigate through a maze, we passed the course. If not, we failed.

That was a very not fun course and I hate robots as a result. I'll take a horde of zombies over a giant killer robot any day of the week.

Haha those suckas at UPenn have so much funding and opportunities to become rich as shit so I don't think they mind doing the work

But yeah, I was surprised to see how quickly they've begun to market the idea. It isn't exactly something new, but it's something very interesting to the layperson. I, too, know people who program robots, and I hear the experience is no cakewalk

@Sidneys: Have fun with that bro--coding is too complicated for me lol. Too many words...took a comp sci course once a few years back and hated it.

They never let you code anything fun. It's always either write a program to solve this math problem, or program this robot or you fail. Where's the fun in that?!
