Wonko's World: The Map

I could try and make some music but it would most likely end up sounding like Jack Wall, Jesse Allen or Scott Morgan... Since they are my inspiration.

Also, to point this out before anyone convinces me to do it, it's been several years since I lasted composed something and it wasn't very good. So please, don't try. xD


PS. I'll get around to making those textures eventually, I swear!

I don't want to set a date, because that never works. I think soonish is accurate. I'd like to see something playable by the end of the summer (my aim is to finish the entire above-ground portion by this time, leaving only the underground rocky ruins and caverns to do). Most of the work I've been doing lately has been finishing areas I've already made or better connecting areas of the map. I also started remodeling some of the larger areas I wasn't happy with and am currently redoing the hangar from scratch.

(Already procrastinating on these essays... oh man)

here's some new shots of a corridor system I'm working on:


Left from ^ this shot leads to a series of medical corridors (pictured below). Right from the shot will be a robot assembly area (I'm redoing the old robot area from scratch as I wasn't happy with it).

Absolutely! a lot of the hallways and rooms which look grayscale-esque are rooms which I intend to use color lighting in as I did in http://jediknight3.filefront.com/screenshots/File/65911/2 except better

Edit: I'm not happy with my duel of the fates style reactor room. It's passable, but it's easily the weakest area in the map. If anyone has any ideas for how I might fix it, or wants to take a stab at mapping it, your help would greatly be appreciated. I haven't done much of anything with it, and I sort of plan on leaving it as-is and just treating it as a worthless child.

Actually, I do have a thought... let me see if I can figure out which map it was. It might have been jk3... get on the chatbox so I can show you the map soon as I find it.


Edit: I'm having the hardest time finding the map I'm thinking of... meet me on whatever server I happen to be sifting through maps on.
