Dropbox is the most awesome thing ever. (free too)

Yo so guys...if you have an iPhone or anything like that, turn on camera upload for your Dropbox and you can get a shitload of extra space that way. What I'm doing right now is I'm letting my iPhone record a video of whatever the hell it's looking at right now, and I'm just gonna keep doing that/uploading until I reach max capacity, after which I will simply delete it.

Heh, I did that too. All it took was a six or seven minute video to fill up the extra space that my photos didn't use. You only need to upload 2.5gb worth of photos/videos, then it gives you 3gb. I had between a gig and a gig and a half of photos already.

I also have Apple's iCloud stream thing automatically sending new photos between my devices, but it doesn't send videos so it's nice that Dropbox uploads videos. The free space aside, it's a pretty handy feature.

Do you know of any ways to scam Dropbox into accepting fake referrals by the off chance?

It checks not only IP's but the MAC addresses of the computers signing up for the referrals. You can send it to any old e-mail address you want, but it has to be accepted on a computer that has never accepted a dropbox referral before.

So find a computer lab at your school and accept one referral on each computer I think you have to be able to install the software to get the referral bonus though.
