What better way to scam innocent tourists than $10.00 cotton candy and $15.00 maps nobody can even read anymore? Don't even get me starting about parking in D.C..... Although it is very nice to see at least once! Cool pics, Blivvy! cheers

Haha thx. Yea we took the metro there. Much more handy than trying to find parking.

We got to see all the stuff we didn't get around to last time. The smithsonian is so big tho, u could waste the whole day in there. That's why we stayed away this time lol.

I like virginia anyway. Actually it would be a nice place to live.

Yeah some people think it's too conformed and suburban/rural but I kinda like it. A good portion of the east coast looks pretty much the same, minus the cities and whatnot. The Smithsonian was one of my fav. museums from my youth...and I still remember the overpriced food/drink!!! Ahhhh good old D.C., with the circuitous roadways and the obscurely-named streets; how we love thee.

You're more likely to die from an automobile accident than a train accident Razz

We, as humans (or Rodians), aren't afraid of the deaths associated with cars because we feel like we have more control over them, or that we trust the person driving to not screw up. However, the probability that you'll die is far greater with cars since people are just stupid and go at 80-85 mph and end up at the hospital Razz

But, yeah, the T is safer :O
