Because the other two hydro levels sucked in comparison to the original.
You should check out the hydro map pack for jka. They are so much better than any of the hydro maps on jk2.
Edit: Actually I just checked jk2 files and there's a few different hydro maps I never seen before lol.

Did you know that the creator of Hydroball was the same guy that coded the multiplayer portion of JK2?

Re: Good old hydro...
Wasn't the duel server only set up for cap'n jack's tourney? I think it's fair to say that ain't ever gonna happen lol.

Re: Good old hydro...
Yeah, haha. Perhaps the Wonk man could remove that one and replace it with JKA Hydro?
Alternatively, are there any good 24/7 JKA hydro servers that are active?

Re: Good old hydro...
I haven't noticed any. Wonder how popular a hydro server on jka would be? More popular than an unused duel server anyway

Re: Good old hydro...
Maybe a bit offtopic, but could there possibly a way to take Hydroball into TF2?

Re: Good old hydro...
Learn C++ or whatever programing language it's written in, download whatever map-creating software you need, and do it yourself.
Re: Good old hydro...
Nobody wants Hydroball in TF2. Go play some Saxton.

I'm taking a class where I learn how to build a computer, take it apart (easiest thing to do), put it back together..Guess I don't learn this in the class.

Re: Good old hydro...
@Ice: That map, according to the comments, is a block of water suspended in space. I saw it a while back and figured that's no better than the original map, so I never bothered.
Also, nobody ever plays jk3. Someone suggested a jk3 hydro server some time ago and I asked if everybody wanted one and everybody said they'd never use it.......

Re: Good old hydro...
btw Grimlore--I logged into the chatbox because you (or Llama...whatever your respective writing styles are exactly the same so forgive me if I lump you both together as the ubiquitous "them") were talking about getting on the Chatbox in one of these threads, and I saw this: " and Ice said i learn how to all that stuff myself." I was being sarcastic haha (well, sardonic technically I suppose). I'm just sayin' that if you wanna get something done, do it yourself or get the help of others because we're not gonna code you a mod on a whim (well, I think only Wonko and Loki are the programmers here but w/e).
