It's called Modern Warfare 2. Yes there is a difference because Infinity Ward wanted to break away from common Call of Duty ways of doing things. Expect MW2 to be less linear.

Ah yes my fault, they just changed the boxart yesterday and added the call of duty prefix. I last went on gamespot a few days ago actually, and it was originally planned to do away with the "Call of Duty" name.

yea i thought the same from inside gaming (machinima show) i was kinda hopeing that they hadn't had the "call of duty"

NOOOOO Activision is NOT working on this. They already messed with the Game's engine, which was created for CoD4 originally, for CoD5.

Activision is a publisher. They published COD4 and will be publishing COD:MW2. COD:WAW was developed by Treyarch and published by Activision.

mmmm... modern warfare 2...

i have seen some like.. pre gameplay of modern warfare 2 on youtube (played by the creators) they were showing a SP level.. it was crazy, you had to climb up this ice mountain using ice picks n all. check that game out on youtube.

activision did all the commands in jk2 like amsit,amWhatever!

and so for CoD4 the characters would open the doors the EXACT same way every time! and they would crouch and do the exact same thing every time. that's activision, not infinity ward.

i think alot of people had a huge takeoff w/ MW2 like half my friends on my list on the ps3 r playin MW2 specially Sora XD

im not planning on getting MW2 though O_o

Whenever i try to update my system it gets screwed up on account of so many people playin or updating at the same time. I'ma try to do it whenever i wake up for school..hopefully people still have lives.
