'Tis the Season 2016

Taking a seat, you roast a marshmallow made from Wonko's patent-pending Super-Fluff Technology(TM) over an open fire.
Quietly, in the background, Wonko's Almost Automagical Yuletide Carol Choir(TM) begins to sing:
Marshmallooooows roasting on an open fiiiiiire,
A dark jediiiiii nipping at your nose,
Yuletide carols being sung by an Almost Automagical Yuletide Carol Choiiiiir(TM)
And folks dressed up like Exar Kun.
Everybody knows a cookie and some marshmallows,
Help to make the season briiiight,
Tiny jawas with their eyes all aglowwww,
Will find it hard to pawn that droid toniiiiight.
They know that Saaaanta's on his waaaay,
He's loaded lightsabers and cookies on his sleigh,
And every Bothan's child is gonna spyyyy,
To see if Wonko really can bake a pie.
And so I'm offering this simple phrase,
To Jedi from one to nine hundred and twoooo,
Although it's been said many times many waaaays,
May the Force be with you.

Not sure why but it doesn't really feel like Christmas here this year. Everyone has been saying that. It would be nice if we got a little bit of snow or something. Been so long since I've seen any here.

I've had some snow where I am last week, but then it was 50F the next day and it all melted. Then it dropped to 15F, way below freezing, and whatever was left over hardened into this patchy snowy ice stuff. There's just spots of it all over.
I remember a lot of white Christmases when I was younger, like full on snowstorm and multiple inches of the good powdery stuff. They seem to be increasingly rare now
The other thing that's changed is everyone's buying those inflatable decorations for their lawns instead of the classic gingerbread house lights. That kind of contributes to the missing feeling of Christmas for me.

Yeah everyone has been saying that here too. We had some snow last weekend also, probably the same day that Wonko did, but it melted pretty quickly. For some reason, they still plowed the parking lot where I was that day...
I had to take my winter jacket off midday today because it was like 56 or 57 degrees (F) in the afternoon. Not winter weather at all.
