Disruptor Rifles

What was the online mod that made the rifle glitch out a million lasers?

It wasn't a mod, it was just a glitch that could be done. As I recall it involved switching from one weapon to another in a way that tricked the code into thinking the previous weapon was still being fired. So the previous weapon's fire rate was applied to the disruptor. It must have used the repeater? I don't remember exactly how it was done, unfortunately. Someone else might be able to help out with the details?

The people who you saw doing this usually had cheats enabled because without unlimited ammo it would burn through yours in a half second.

Yeah, you use the sniper rifle (that's the disruptor, right?), then switch to the E-11 blaster rifle while holding the secondary attack button and then switch right back to the sniper while pressing both the primary and secondary attack keys (left and right click by default). 

I might be a bit off in the steps, so just keep trying until it works.  I don't know if it works on Wonko's 1337 h4xed server.

Pretty sure I purposely never fixed that glitch because it's kind of awesome, let's be honest

Other mods have fixed it though, so it won't work everywhere.

There's also been a bit of server activity because of the holidays.  People usually show up around this time of year pining for the good old days.  I'm sure Steam will do its usual holiday sale as well, which always gets people playing again.  The server will be switching over to Christmas mode shortly

Yeah, Steam usually has some sort of sale so you can get the jedi knights games for dirt cheap.  People check it out and dabble around the insane asylum.
