Oh also: I'm unable to connect to the main JK2 server (only the hydroball one loads in the master server list, and none are on the backup jk2&jka master server here http://my.jacklul.com/jkhubservers/ ) can anyone tell me what might be the deal with that one

Hiya!  

I honestly have no idea what's up with the main server.  It's there and people are connecting to it almost every day so I don't know why some people see it and others don't.  These types of problems used to be temporary and only last a few hours, but this seems to have been going on for a while.  It might even be since the master server list was down at the beginning of the year?  I'm really not sure...

Ouned's master server list has been in there for a while as a backup, but I just noticed that it had gone away? These things are dropping like flies! I've just now added jkhub's address so we're showing up on that website.  Of course there's always the direct connect option I posted here: https://schoolofcake.forumotion.com/t1190-in-case-of-master-server-issues-break-glass

If you have any ideas on what's causing this, let me know 'cause I'm completely stumped.  

Hey Kai!  Nice to see you.  I don't know what's up with the server, but follow that link Wonko posted and you'll be able to connect.   

Are you on Steam by any chance?  You can hit me up and I may or may not be online lol... 

Rad-- for some reason the server is now showing up for me (thought it definitely wasn't before). So we're good! Any chance anyone would want to get together later today or tomorrow? I'll see if I can't reinstall skype so we can chat as well.

Maybe something kicked it in the pants when I added the extra master server? At least it's working.

I won't be able to join you guys this weekend unfortunately. I work weekends these days, and on top of that I caught some kind of head cold this past week. I'm sleeping as much as I can just to get rid of the thing; it's awful and doesn't want to let me be.

PM your steam name though and I'll add you there. During the week Ice and I usually beat up some zombies in L4D2 if you have that. Always room for Kai in the apocalypse.

aw nuts, feel better! I'll be on skype semi regularly in about a week when I'm done traveling for the summer and settled back at ye olde apartment. I'm sure we can make things happen.

Oh traveling?  Spin us a yarn about your adventures.  Did you go treasure hunting?  Did you loot the lost tomb of Freedon Nadd?  Embark upon a quest of epic proportions?  Did you restore hope to each village you passed through?  Or was it all a woeful errand?
