Yep it's that time of year again. Yay.

Time for a zombies marathon to prepare for the zombie apocalypse (oh come on, we all know it's coming).

If only zombies were as predictable in real life as they are in the virtual world.

True story.  Those blasted zombehz.  Unfortunately, the newer generations are zombies are a lot faster and more deadly than their old school predecessors.  Some serious strategerizing may be called for.

Then again, Bill Murray may have had the right idea in Zombieland.  If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!

I didn't don any dreary duds this year, but the Internet is exploding with all kinds of crazy Halloween costumes right now.  What about you, dress up at all and scare the kiddies?

I bet Ice just went out as himself.  Probably the one time of year nobody accepted his free ice cream. 

Nah I didn't dress up but I did drink some rum, well too much actually and I had the hangover to prove it lol.

But yeah, I haven't really been on the forum in while, so happy belated Halloween!

Well it's not 2013 but it only seems right to raise this thread from the dead. Omg that rhymes too.

 

I might just have an Aliens marathon and then I'm gonna go play some of this.

I was actually thinking of creating standard holiday indicators of some sort instead of these yearly announcement threads.  Figured they might just tell people when the server was in holiday mode, but then I realized that all six people who still play jk2 probably already know about these holiday modes on the server so there wouldn't be much point in that now.

It was fun to create those yearly posts though.  I used to try to tie each year into the previous post somehow with a stupid little story of some sort, especially for the zombie/turkey transition period.

I'll be celebrating by building a zombie survival bunker on the Minecraft server.  Anybody dressing up or are we too old for that now?

It was already quoted for emphasis once up there, do we really need to quote this twice?  It's hardly the most quoteworthy thing I've ever said.

I wonder what the most quoteworthy thing I've ever said really is.  There should be some kind of forum crawler that seeks out quoteworthy things and collects them for posterity.  That sounds like an incredibly useful thing that should exist.

This can be pretty damn scary at times. They really captured the sense of fear of being hunted by the xenomorph.

Oh man that second one starting at 3:00 is the scariest thing ever!  I was reaching for my safety blanket while watching that.
