I know, I watch it to. But the box itself is kinda outdated. It isn't used anymore.

It only counts as a time machine if it tells a different time than the one you thought it should but by the mere act of looking at it showing a different time you, yourself, would have become a time traveler negating the need for a time machine of any sort meaning no, it's not a time machine. Powered by lightning, the clock, in such an instance, would be more like a fixed multi-dimensional temporal gravity well displacing the infamous tachyon particles in the dimensional substrate of its wake, thereby inducing a causality anomaly creating divergent future timelines vis-a-vis eddies in the space-time continuum, right beside his sofa. You see, the problem is, every time you look at the future it changes, because you looked at it, and that changes everything else.
