Whelp, the Doomsday Clock has officially been set to three minutes to midnight.

The scientists cited "Continued lack of global political action to address global climate change, the modernization of nuclear weapons in the United States and Russia, and the problem of nuclear waste" as the reasons for the change. It hasn't been set this close to midnight since 1984 with the Cold War arms race.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure people even pay attention to this clock or the scientists behind it anymore. I bet there's plenty of people who don't even know it's a thing that exists...
