Re: Wikipedia Blackout
You know I read something similar not long ago, but now I can't remember where. It basically called Hollywood and the movie industry the ultimate hypocrite because they were basically pirates themselves when they created Hollywood. They circumvented copyright laws and stole stuff and so on and so forth to get the business up and running. That's kind of funny, isn't it.
No wonder the world is ending in 2012!

Re: Wikipedia Blackout
I think this is a very well thought out article that hits the nail on the head:
http://www.forbes.com/sites/insertcoin/2012/02/03/you-will-never-kill-piracy-and-piracy-will-never-kill-you/
Also, looks like we're in for another uphill battle with two new laws they're trying to pass. This is never going to stop. Thank goodness the world is ending this year. I don't think I could take much more of this crap.

Re: Wikipedia Blackout
This is ftw. I know there's stuff like Apple TV and whatnot, but some sort of universal system fully supported by the powers that be would really be beneficial for both consumers and for the movie industry.
If all the companies (netflix, apple, etc.) come together and design something like that, the whole damn problem would be solved. Nice article.
