Uncharted has always been in PlayStation exclusive game, ever since the PS3 came out.  They aren't going to change making games exclusive to one console or another.

I didn't see all of the video, but it sure does look nice  Thumbs Up  I really enjoyed Uncharted 2 on the PS3.  Awesome game.

Minecraft is getting a story mode and it's being made by the guys who made The Walking Dead games... wut? Does this mean they're gonna kill off Steve?

Yeah I read about that too and I don't really understand it. A story? What, like an RPG style thing? An adventure story? And why? People already make all kinds of adventure mode maps with stories and everything. Why do you need a whole separate game for this when adventure mode is already built in?

I know when you win in MK it says finish him/her... but damn, these are slightly overkill right?

I'd say that's a little more than slightly overkill. Looks like they're trying a bit too hard to go for that over-the-top shock factor if you ask me. I suppose there's a market for that type of thing though.

So I was gifted Star Citizen recently and went to try to run it and my computer was like "NOPE!" It wouldn't even launch. That game seems to want some serious hardware. It looks like it's going to be a really good game though once it's finished:

It's not a new game, to me it is, but I've been playing Unreal Tourney 3 recently.

Quake.  Ah the good old days.  Used to have instagib LAN parties where only the fastest of the fastest reflexes survived, spawn kills ran wild amongst the rising platforms beneath the blackest of skies, and the average expected lifespan of any individual was no more than a few tenths of a second.  Yep, those were the days.   Zombie Tired

Indeed, the force is strong in this one.

What sucks about new games now though is the whole dlc thing. It's not just expansions or add-ons they release. Now it's more like they release half a game and you gotta pay extra for dlc if you want the full thing. Take Destiny for example, they basically cut out stuff that should of been in the base game and then released it as separate dlc packs. Total rip-off.

And they've already announced the first dlc for Battlefront. There will more than likely be about 4 or 5 dlc packs released I would say.

Yeah, that's not cool.  They shouldn't release DLCs along with the actual game--maybe like 6 or so months afterwards just as an extra thing.

If they're doing a DLC thing with that game like you describe with Destiny, then I'm honestly not even going to bother. I'm not going to spend absurd amounts of money for a bunch of little pieces of a game.

I've never been one to buy a game as soon as it comes out for full price; I'd rather wait a little bit for it to come down to a more reasonable price and buy it on sale. I also want the whole game when I buy it. DLC's that are cosmetic addons and whatnot don't bother me because I don't need them to play the full game. But when they chop out content and make you buy it separately... I'll take my money elsewhere, scumbags.

Re: New Game Releases

I mean, if they release a map or two after the game has been out for a while and people have played it endlessly, it's not a big deal unless it's particularly expensive.  I remember the Call of Duty add-on maps were really expensive, like 15 bucks for 3 maps and one of them was always a re-release of a map from a previous game.  I caved and bought one DLC once, and I regretted it since it was a waste.

But yeah, when you buy a game, it should be the full game.

Also, paying full price for a game is basically pointless.  They drop in price significantly after just a few months, sometimes even less (yay Amazon).

That's true and usually a goty edition or something similar will get released and will include all of the dlc on disc. So you are getting a full game instead forking out extra for extra for dlc.

Finally it has been announced! And it even has a trailer!!

No, I'm not talking about Half Life 3. The day HL3 is announced is the day the world ends.

I'm talking about this:

Yeah that looks pretty damn cool.  Unfortunately I don't have a new gen console or a capable computer, so I'm going to have to wait until I get a new computer to grab it (and also Battlefront).

I actually saw that YouTube video when it only had a couple hundred views!  I didn't wait up for it or anything...it just coincided with when I happened to be awake lol.

Watching some vids of the Battlefront Beta and omg it looks amazing. Graphics are absolutely gorgeous. Can't wait to get the full game when it's out.

Am I the only one who thinks this is a direct clone of Battlefront II minus the awesome space campaigns?

I don't know. There seems to be a lot of improvements made to the gameplay and just look at those graphics man! Only downside is ofc there's a $50/€50 season pass so we will have to pay extra to get the best stuff probably.

I mean yeah, the graphics look great, but what gameplay differences are there? The only thing I can see is they got rid of the space combat in favor of ground vehicles.
