Yeah it's a good book I read it years ago in high school. I never really got the jabberwock poem. I'm pretty sure Wonko has read it, so I don't see the point in saying "has anyone" lol. Actually, never mind. Wonko probably beemed the book into his electrical brain which then called on its nervous system to start typing random C++ source code which developed the mod. He was probably hypnotized the whole time Razz ... And on large quantities of PCP Smile

Considering that the whole server and all its messages and other randomness are Alice in Wonderland themed, I'm surprised you even have to ask.

The poem is actually part of the first book, and it's all over the server. It's in the MOTD and bits and pieces get displayed randomly, or I can summon the entire thing up onto everybody's screens upon a whim. Dragon

He's probably related to Lewis Carroll; Carroll used to take pics of a girl named Alice in the nude Razz ....and you know how Wonko's like j/k j/k

Wow nobody uses " j/k " anymore, it's always " lol this " or " lol that " Sad

I sorta kinda get the jabberwocky poem. pictures help Smile it's like a dragon or monster thing.
(jubjub is also explained in it)

tweedledee is beast, but tweedledum is left out!!!! Sad
(lsd icey Razz)

i read "Alice in Wonderland" and now I'm on "Through the Looking Glass". I'm at Humpty Dumpty atm Very Happy Very Happy

i can barely remember the old movie and don't believe i own it anymore but i've heard about the new movie being made. i heard they're trying to make it scarier?

currently my favorite characters are tweedledee and tweedledum but the Dutchess isn't too bad with all of her morals and such.

Ooh! and the Mad Hatter is awesome! him and the March Hair and the doormouse i think his name is. it's funny how we call him the "mad" hatter but he is never referred to as that. it's so easy to quote Carroll there.

it's nice to finally somewhat kinda sorta understand all of this now. Very Happy:D

I think there's a book after Through The Looking Glass too; if you search hard enough, you may find it. I, like Wonko, do not like how trailers spoil movies so I haven't seen the Alice trailer yet. I will probably see it when it comes out in 2010.

Featuring the Original Illustrations by John Tenniel
With a New Introduction by Martin Gardner

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought --
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.

And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.

"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'
He chortled in his joy.

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

"What you think is bad he thinks is good, what you think is good he thinks is bad" (Moss)

Not the same thing at all!

You might as well say "I eat what i see, is the same as i see what i eat!"

You might as well say "I get what i like, is the same as a like what i get!"

You might as well say "I sleep when i breathe, is the same as i breath when i sleep!"
