I seriously hope they follow through on this...

This is different from the new Battlefront game Dice is working on right? 

And I have to say it sucks seeing all these cancelled SW games. It's like, this is what you could of been playing but not anymore bro. Why did they have to tease us?

Pretty sure this is the same one, right?  And yeah, I hope they don't cancel it.

Na, that version is the pre-alpha from years back. It was fully cancelled. The version Dice are working on is completely new.

So that video is for the canned new one, and there's a new new one that we don't know anything about yet?  Or do we know things?  I'm confused.  

So we know Dice is working on it, it looks amazing and it's scheduled to be released spring 2015.

If there's one thing I've learnt from trailers/teasers, it's that you should never believe it. Especially when it comes to AAA games. You'll almost certainly be disappointed. If you go into expecting shit though, it'll be the best game you played since nostalgia.

Yeah that teaser didn't show much about the gameplay itself, just the scenery and engine.  What if it's the same Battlefront mechanics and play style with just a visual overhaul?  I'm sure it'd still be an enjoyable game because Battlefront II was pretty great, but how long would you play it before it became stale?

On the other hand, if it ends up being really unique I might consider setting up a server for it.
