I thought a surface pro and its assoc keyboard from best buy. I played with it for a few days and hated it so I took it back before the return policy had ended. I felt like it was bad version of a lap top, and when compared to an ipad mini (the regular ipad is way to big in my opinion) it sucked big time.

I tend to like Apple for my lap tops and PC only for desktop. My PC far outperforms anything apple will ever produce. Boots up in about 2 seconds, never crashes and can run a unseemly amount of programs all going at the same. That being said, apple's products have their place and run great (esp laptops, tablets and phones)

I don't know, those newest Macbook Pro's are some pretty serious pieces of hardware.  And then there's the new Mac Pro, which I bet destroys your desktop performance-wise, but that's designed for professionals not home users.

That thing has like multiple Xeon processors. Looks like its made for running servers.

I doubt very many if any computers out perform my desktop unless you're really pouring money into it. Here's its stats

intel I7 3730 overclocked to 4 Ghz (4 fans and liquid cooled)
1866 mhz ram 32 gigs
nvidea 770 card (weakest part of the whole thing)
1 T harddrive of solid state (boots up v fast bc of this)

Plus mac can't even run gtkradiant unless u load bootcamp, which sucks

Why do you need 1tb of SSD lol I dont' know anyone who would possibly have any use for that
