EA Aquires Star Wars Game License...

At first I was like "Oh good god, NOOOOO!" but then I was thinking, at least we know there will be new Star Wars games. The way I see it is - BioWare will make another rpg like KOTOR, Visceral will make a game like 1313 or something similar and DICE will make Battlefront III hopefully or some kind of fps. We may get some decent Star Wars games again.

I think you're right, Bliv. EA can be an annoying-ass company at times, but at least the Star Wars legacy will live on.

Yea everyone basically hates EA but the developers that they mentioned which are working on new Star Wars games have made some solid games. The likes of the Battlefield & Mass Effect series, they have been some of the best games that have come out in the last few years imo. So I have a good feeling about these new Star Wars games.

But if EA is involved, won't they stick their slimy little fingers in these games and muck them up horribly? Just because things may be developed by those individual studios doesn't mean EA won't destroy the games with bad management.
Bioware, for example, made KotOR before being purchased by EA. We know they can do great stuff independently, but what about under EA's evil sith grip?
Same with the others. It just makes me wonder.
