I didn't get a chance to check the forums yesterday, so when I read that today it wasn't April Fools anymore. I half thought it might be legit.

So speaking of April Fools stuff, you saw what Google did to Maps right? It's awesome. They've been posting clues to the treasure on their Google+ page and I haven't figured out whether there actually is a legit treasure hidden somewhere or if they're just leading everybody on:

So is that really bad news, or somewhat good news? 'cause this line in there has me confused:

we've decided to shift LucasArts from an internal development to a licensing model, minimizing the company's risk while achieving a broader portfolio of quality Star Wars games

So does that mean they're going to let anyone license Star Wars games then develop whatever they want? Don't people already do that? I mean other game studios are the people who actually make the games right? LucasArts hasn't made a game of their own in years I thought.

Oh, I didn't actually read the article Yeah, I don't know then. I just want a new Battlefront game. Or Jedi Knights or something. The hell with Star Wars 1313 (which I think I heard was scrapped by them). Nobody wants to play as a bounty hunter when they can kick ass with a lightsaber. Or play Battlefront. That's good too.

Did they really scrap 1313? That was hyped up as the next big game... If they canned that game, then maybe Star Wars games really are doomed entirely.

What engine would even be good enough for it.

Reason jk2 was a great game was because it had a killer engine. Not sure what is out now days that would make for something cool
